I Have A Chance Support Services Ltd. provides services to individuals requiring support in various aspects of their lives.  IHAC is a private agency located in the quiet communities of Spruce Grove and Stony Plain.  The atmosphere around town provides opportunity for individuals to feel respected, welcome, and included in the community.  It is a place where people know your name.

We offer assistance to people facing a variety of challenges including individuals with:

•    suicidal ideations
•    self-injurious behaviours
•    challenging behaviours

From children to seniors, we offer a continuum of support based specifically to the individual’s desires and needs.  Services are developed in large part from the individual’s Person Center Plan.  Ongoing review of the individual’s goals is conducted to evaluate progress, achievements, and the individual’s decision to pursue another path.  Individuals may choose to receive residential, day options, community access, and/or outreach supports.

I Have A Chance Support Services Ltd., also known as IHAC, first opened its doors in 1987 due to a need in the community.  It began as an early intervention program, offering in-home respite to families in need.  The first residential home opened in 1989 with the day options program starting in 1993.
